Knauf Earthwool Omnifit slab is a multi purpose, non-combustible, flexible glass mineral wool slab that offers thermal and acoustic performance all in one. Earthwool OmniFit slab is suitable for us in metal stud partitions, timber stud partitions, timber frame walls, suspended timber floors and between rafters. Knauf OmniFit slab is friction fitted between rafters, joists and studs.

Knauf Earthwool OmniFit slab has thermal conductivity rating of 0.035W/Mk at all thicknesses.

Knauf Earthwool OmniFit slab is classified as Euroclass A1 to BS EN 13501-1

Acoustic

Knauf Earthwool OmniFit slab performs to a very high level of acoustic absorption being tested in a laboratory to demonstrate performance.

Environmental

Knauf Earthwool Omifit slab represents no known threat to the environment and has zero Ozone Depletion Potential and zero Global Warming Potential.

Handling and storage

One of the great things about Knauf Earthwool OmniFit slab is that it is easy to handle and install, being lightweight and easily cut to size, where necessary. Earthwool OmniFit slab is supplied in polythene packs which are designed for short term protection only. For longer term protection on site, the product should either be stored indoors, or under cover and off the ground. Earthwool OmniFit slab should not be left permanently exposed to the elements

Vapour resistivity

Knauf Earthwool OmniFit slab offers negligible resistance to the passage of water vapour and has a water vapour resistivity of 5.00MNs/g.m.

Durability

Knauf Earthwool OmniFit slab is odourless, rot proof, non-hygroscopic, does not sustain vermin and will not encourage the growth of fungi, mould or bacteria.
